I’m The Dish. I write about my adventures testing & altering recipes, finding ingredients, and maintaining a healthy diet & sound meal-budget. My girlfriend (aka The Spoon) is allergic to a lot. She shouldn’t eat wheat, dairy, or corn and is supposed to steer clear of beef and pork. She may bring home the bacon, but she’s not allowed to eat it. So here I am, a stay-at-home girlfriend, teaching myself how to cook for my allergy-ridden partner.
Each recipe is rated from one to five spoons. Five Spoons = I’d take this recipe to a deserted island, and One Spoon = Gag me with a spoon because I need to throw up.
